About Me

I am Rene' Nuss, the Media Specialist at Northside Elementary School in Nebraska City.

Family:
My husbands name is Greg.  Greg works for Pacific Springs Retirement Village as a maintenance man.

We have three children:
    Amelia
    Reed
    Weston

Education:

• Recieved a Bachlors Degree in Human Development/ Elementary Education from the University of Nebraska Lincoln.
• Recieved an Endorsement in Gifted Education from the University of Nebraska  Kearney.
  
• Recieved a Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Doane College Crete Nebraska.
• Recieved an Endorsement in Library Science from University of Nebraska Omaha.

• I am responsible for getting students and teachers excited about books.
• I work to enstill a love of reading in my students.
  
• I teach Library skills.
• I teach Computer skills.
• I am responsible for the promotion of and the use of the Library.
  
• I am responsible for the selection and purchase of all Library materials and equipment.
• I am responsible for maintaining all Library materials and equipment.
  

I am extremely happy working in as I often say "My Dream Job!". 
I can not think of a better job than mine,
where my main purpose is to get students to love reading and books.
