Northside Elementary Library Nebraska City Public Schools
Welcome to the Library at Northside Elementary where every child's life is enriched with books.
- We believe that every student should have free access to our Library's resources.
- We
believe that every student will read and comprehend many of the books
our Library has to offer. Therefore, it is important that the
Library provides a variety of books at many different reading levels.
- We
believe that student select and enjoy books that are interesting to
them. Therefore, it is necessary that I select books that are of
high interest areas of my students.
- We believe that
students need to become familiar with the organization of a
Library. Therefore, I will teach my students the Library skills
needed to be successful in a Library setting.
- We believe that
children are naturally intuitive. Therefore the Library must
provide materials that can answer a wide variety of the questions
children have.
