DAILY BULLETIN ~ Wednesday – 08/27/08

Student Section

LUNCH SMOOTHIES:  The smoothies will be an ala Carte item during lunch and will cost 25¢ for a 4 oz. cup.  You will need to pay the lunch monitor and you will receive your cup.  (NOTE – If the smoothie is an item on the lunch menu, then it will be included with your lunch.)

LUNCH ITEMS:  H.S. STUDENTS – The menu items that are out on the table (such as fruit cups, peanut butter & jelly sandwiches, etc.) are ONE PER STUDENT.  Please do NOT take more than one and do NOT take any extra for friends.

FROM MR. BOHLING & MRS. KUBIK:  FRESHMAN – We will have a class meeting during the break today to vote for class officers and discuss class business.  Please meet in Mrs. Kubik’s room.

FROM MRS. ROBISON & MR. FEREBEE:  SOPHOMORES – You will need to get your $20.00 class dues paid by Tuesday, 09/02/08.

FROM MRS. BLECHA & MRS. VELEBA:  JUNIORS – We will have a class meeting on Friday, 08/29/08 after school at 2:00 p.m.  Meet in the band room.

FROM MRS. MYERS:  JOURNALISM STUDENTS – All students who are in Journalism during the day, or wanting to be part of the staff after school, please meet in Mrs. Myers’ room today during the break.

FROM MRS. MOSER:  STUDENT COUNCIL – We will meet on Friday, 08/29/08 at 7:30 a.m. in my room.

FROM MR. BLOSS:  FFA MEETING – Will be on Friday, 08/29/08 at 7:30 a.m. 

FROM MRS. VELEBA:  MAGAZINE SALES – Sales run until Wednesday, 09/03/08.  Remember that everyone’s goal is to sell three (3) items.
MARCHING BAND – You did a very good job at the State Fair yesterday!  (Thank you to those students that counted to three.)

FROM MRS. ROBISON:  FLAGS – We will meet on Thursday, 08/28/08 at 6:15 p.m. after volleyball.  Callie & Bailey – please pay your remaining $20.00 for dues a.s.a.p.
SHOWSTOPPERS – If you have not paid for your outfits, please do so by Tuesday, 09/02/08.
FULL CHORUS – First rehearsal will meet today during 5th period.  Any students in band and/or study hall are welcome to join.  If you can sing, make a contribution.
ALL-STATE CHORUS AUDITIONS – We’ll meet Thursday, 08/28/08 morning ~ Ben at 7:00 a.m. & Raina at 7:30 a.m.  If anyone else is interested, please see Mrs. Robison before Thursday.

FROM COACH OFFNER:  FOOTBALL T-SHIRTS – Adult sizes S – XXL are available NOW for the low price of $10.00 each.  See Coach Offner if you are interested in purchasing one.  ALSO – If you would like a youth size, let Coach Offner know and if we get enough requests, a youth size order will be placed.
FOOTBALL CAMP REFUNDS – Brady Johnson & Justin Packett need to pick up your refund checks for the summer football camp in the office today.

Teachers & Staff Section

FROM MRS. MYERS:  FACULTY – I know that many of you have been administering vocabulary pre-tests, so while the results are current, go ahead and record them like you did in the spring and save them in the appropriate folders on the server.  Also, save a copy of any new lists and/or tests as well.  Any questions, just ask.  NEW TEACHERS – When you have time, make an appointment with me and I’ll explain the process.  Thanks!
