Here
is our die cut machine. This machine and the dies that go with it were
earned through the Niders Thriftyway program and the Box Top program.
Items were earned because
families donated grocery store receipts that they receive during the
months of January through April 30th, as well as saved Box Tops. Box
tops are tiny
emplems which can be found on many different foods. Playground
equipment and a digital camera are examples of other items that were
earned also.
The die cut machine works like a huge paper hole punch, and helps in the task of making bulletin boards, posters and
banners. We now have a nice variety of letters, numbers and
shapes. This has made a fantastic contribution to our school. Not
only is the machine available for use by faculty, but also by the students. Clubs and groups use the machine to cut out
letters and shapes for different projects. Art students use the shapes as well. The sports
booster club has started using letters and shapes to make posters for
the sports
banquet.

Thank you to Niders Thriftway for making this contribution!
Anyone who would like to donate receipts or box tops, please bring them
to the Pawnee City School. If you have any questions, please call the school at 852-2988 or 852-2411.
