This is a quote that sums up my thoughts of my role as a teacher. I am a first year teacher here at and just graduated from Peru State College in May of 2008. I graduated with a Bachelors of Science degree in Elementary Education and am pursuing a degree in Middle Grades education. I teach a variety of classes here at I work with students from the grade of Kindergarten up to 8^th grade on a daily basis.                                           

        I am originally from Tecumseh, so I am used to the small town life. In my free time I love to spend time with my nephew Cole, who is 4 years old and my niece, Lexi who is 18 months old. When I am not watching or playing with them I love to follow local and collegiate sports (North Carolina basketball in particular) and spend a lot of my free time around kids.
