Operation Fly Like An Eagle began in December 2001 as an eight-day special projects course in mural painting for eighth grade students. The mural was created as a symbol of American resolve following the tragic events of September 11, 2001. The web page documents how the creation of the mural evolved into more than a painting project. To see and learn more about this project, go to the My Pages section and click on the Eagle link.
The accompanying web page is a collection of envelope art and comments from the letters students received in correspondence with the artists. To see and learn more about this project, go to the My Pages section and click on the Envelope link.
