Hello!
My name is Meri Meredith; I teach K-2 Music at Northside Elementary and am also the director of the NCHS drama program.
I'm especially pleased to be teaching in Nebraska City because I graduated from this fine system in 1980.
I graduated from Doane College with a BA in music and theater education in 1985 and immediately began teaching in Weskan, Kansas. In 1986 I moved to Wall, SD, where I taught K-12 music and drama (and spent summers working at the famous "Wall Drug Store" for 12 years. In 1998 I returned to Nebraska to teach 6-12 music and drama at Conestoga HS in Murray, and in 2006 I returned to Nebraska City.
My most recent accomplishment is the completion of my MS in school counseling; This is my twenty-second year in education and every day is still just as exciting as the first.
