Semester Test Criteria

Semester Test Guidelines:

  • All students will participate in all tests or evaluations as requested by their teachers. Students that do not show up for their tests and have not cleared this through Mr. Gogan will be assessed a zero.

  • Students will have open campus both days. Responsibility in this area is the key! Students may only be in tests or in designated study areas. Students not in these places are not to be loitering in the halls or the gym area.

  • Students must complete the tests to the satisfaction of the classroom teacher. Students will be dismissed by the individual teachers after 45 minutes of class and when all requirements have been met.

  • Students must be on time for each test and the tests must be taken at the time that is assigned to that period unless illness is a factor. Students late to class may not be admitted into the testing center and stand a chance of being issued a zero. NO EXCUSES!

  • Lunch will be served each day from 11:30 to 12:30. Students are welcome to eat lunch at school during that time. Please tell your Pathways teacher if you plan to eat lunch at school those two days. We would like to have some approximate numbers.

  • Each day from 11:00 to 11:30 AM will be an optional Pathways time reserved for teachers to help students with questions or projects. This will also be a time to get signed out items completed by teachers and have your lockers checked.

  • Students are to drive and park appropriately. Students that do not follow these rules may be issued violations from the school and the local police department.

  • Students will be able to sign out with Mr. Adler or Mr. Gogan after each testing session. You may come to Mr. Adler or Mr. Gogan after all requirements have been met. These requirements include all signatures from teachers and staff, all fees and fines are paid, and lockers are checked by your Pathways teachers or another responsible adult.

  • Students must also make sure that they have completed all detention time prior to signing out for the summer. (Applies to Spring Semester Only)

  • Students wishing to find out their scores and performance on Semester Tests may ask their teacher when they will be available. Teachers will do their best to have this information ready for students at that time. In the event that is not possible teachers will set a time in which this information can be presented to any students that are interested.

  • Students and parents may log on to Power School to inquire about a student grade. Report cards will also be made available an the end of each term. The report card distribution time will be announced each semester.
