CLASS RULES

1. Respect yourself and everyone in the classroom (including the teacher).
2. Each student should listen quietly while another person is speaking.  (NO talking without permission).
3. Have all material with you.  You are only allowed two passes for every teacher each day.  Don't forget to bring your student planner to class with you!
4. Be to class on time.  Four or more tardies per semester will result in detentions.
5. You may use the restroom or drinking fountain at the beginning of the class with teacher approval.  (Don't forget your student planner).  Do NOT abuse this privilege.  
6. You may use a laptop computer during homework time or during assessments (NOT during the instruction of material).  You are NOT allowed to play games on the computers.
   
7. Do NOT touch the air conditioner, Mobile Computer Lab, Mimio Machine and markers, TV, VCR, telephone, or thermostat.
8. You may borrow calculators, rulers, compasses, colored pencils or highlighters to use during class time--make certain they are returned before the bell rings.
9. Obey all school rules as stated in the student planner and handbook.

1. Your homework, quizzes, tests, and standards tests need to be legible or they will be counted incorrect.
2. Questions will be answered by the students using the question box.  Use the question box wisely or it will get taken away!
3. Homework needs to be completed on time (beginning of the class the next day) or it will be counted incorrect.  Late papers beginning at an 80% are due the following day.  Papers not received on that second day will NOT be graded.
4. You are expected to use every minute of class to work on assignments or assessments.  The time given at the end of the period is provided to help answer any questions.
   
5. On-Line Learning
   *Quizzes and Tests will be taken online through Angel website

   *Notes may be accessed online through Angel and/or Manila website (older notes)

6. Make-up assingments need to be completed within 2 days.  If you are absent for two or more consecutive days, assignment due dates will be determined by the teacher.

1. All quizzes, tests, and standards tests will be posted on the side chalkboard for the week.  You may view my entire two-week lesson plans on my website http://manila.esu4.org/angelaschmit/.
2. If you are absent, it is up to you to get your homework assignment.  I recommend that you have your parents call the school to pick up your notes and homework--do not get too far behind.  You can also get your homework assignments on my website  http://manila.esu4.org/angelaschmit/.  
3. When you return from being absent, you are responsible to have a white make-up slip.  If you do not have one, you will receive NO credit for work assigned that day.
4. If you are struggling with an assignment or were absent and need help, please come in early in the morning (7:00 - 8:00 a.m.) or after school.  You can also make arrangements to come in during my 4th period planning hour.
